Kevin Cramer Continues to Show His True Colors, Puts Politics Ahead of Constituents
Bismarck, ND—Following the failure of the Farm Bill in the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives, reports of angry party-mates have surfaced. While some Republicans have expressed their anger and frustration with the hardship that is being put on the farmers and ranchers in their respective states, lone North Dakota Congressman, Kevin Cramer has expressed his concern with retaining his seat:
“Cramer, a first-term lawmaker, read aloud an editorial to his colleagues from a North Dakota newspaper, arguing that failing to pass a farm bill could end his brief congressional career.” (Politico 06/26/13)
Dem-NPL Chairman, Bob Valeu, released the following statement:
“Here we go again. Kevin Cramer is more concerned about himself and getting re-elected than he is about the livelihood of our farmers and ranchers, the backbone of our state. Cramer would serve his constituents better if he would speak to the importance of a Farm Bill rather than the importance of his own re-election when he stands before his colleagues in the House Chamber.
We will not rest until someone who truly reflects North Dakota values and ideals represents us in the United States House of Representatives. We intend to see that every voter in North Dakota understands and remembers how Cramer continues to fail us in Washington. We will continue unveiling the truth about Kevin Cramer and his politically motivated self-serving statements. We only hope that everyone is paying attention and remembers this in November of 2014.”
